Federal EV Affordability Program (EVAP) — iZEV closed
The federal iZEV point-of-sale rebate paused in January 2025 when its funding was exhausted and closed on 31 March 2025. It was replaced by the EV Affordability Program, which opened on 16 February 2026 with up to $5,000 on an eligible battery-electric vehicle. Confirm current terms and your own eligibility before budgeting.

Provincial rebates (Québec, BC and others)
Provinces run their own programs — Québec's Roulez vert and BC's rebate are the best-known. Amounts, income caps and vehicle-price caps differ by province and change yearly, so confirm your province's current program.

Is the Canadian reward the same as the US one?
Yes — three months of free FSD (Supervised) on Model 3, Model Y and eligible Cybertruck, priced in Canadian dollars. Model S and Model X get nothing since March 2026.
Does the paused federal rebate affect my referral benefit?
No. The referral FSD trial is a Tesla program and is unaffected by government rebate funding. Only your government-incentive savings depend on iZEV/provincial status.
