This is the mistake almost every referral site makes — quoting the US 'free FSD' line to the whole world. Tesla actually ties the reward to what's legal and sold where you live. Here's the map.
North America → free FSD
FSD (Supervised) is legal to use in the US and Canada, so the reward there is a 3-month free FSD trial — about $297 at $99/mo.
UK & Europe → free Supercharging
FSD isn't road-legal across the UK/EU yet, so instead of a trial you get free Supercharging — roughly 650 miles in the UK, ~1,000 km in France.
Australia → cash off
With neither FSD approval nor a Supercharging-credit scheme, Australia's referral shows as a cash-style discount (≈ A$350 on a Model 3).

Is there a 'best' Tesla referral code?

Can I add a referral code after I've ordered?
No. Tesla can't attach a referral once an order (Reservation Number) exists — online, by phone or in a store. You must click the link and confirm the benefit before you place the order.
How do you verify the code is current?
