What a Tesla referral code is worth by country in 2026
This is the map every buyer needs and almost no referral site draws honestly: the reward is a different kind of thing depending on your market. Here it is, dated July 13, 2026.

Why the differences exist
The reward tracks what's legal and sold locally. FSD (Supervised) is available in North America, so buyers there get a trial. It isn't road-legal across the UK/EU, so those markets get free Supercharging instead. Australia's program uses a straight discount. And Model S/X get nothing anywhere since March 2026.
The value is personal
A three-month FSD trial is only "worth $297" if you'd otherwise pay $99/month for it. Free Supercharging is only worth its face value if you'd use it. Read the figure as a ceiling, then judge it against how you'll actually drive.
Why we do not publish a league table
The obvious thing to build from this page is a ranking — most generous country at the top. We have deliberately not, and the reason is not modesty: a ranking of these rewards would be arithmetically meaningless, and it is worth explaining why so you can spot the ones that exist elsewhere.
Different markets pay in different units. Where the reward is months of a software subscription, its value is a duration times a monthly price. Where it is charging distance, the value is energy times a local electricity rate. Those are not the same kind of quantity, and converting one into the other requires assumptions about a driver that a table cannot hold.
Distance-based rewards are worth more where charging is expensive. Which produces the perverse result that a country with high charging prices appears more "generous" on a converted table, when in fact its drivers simply face higher costs. Ranking by converted value would reward exactly the wrong thing.
Any conversion embeds a driver you may not be. The same charging credit is worth several times more to someone with no home charger than to someone on a cheap overnight tariff. A single national figure silently picks one of them and calls it the country's number.
What to compare instead
There are two comparisons that survive scrutiny, and they are more useful than a ranking would have been.
Compare within your own market. If your market offers a choice — distance or a cash deduction — the comparison is real, the units are yours, and the arithmetic is two multiplications. That is the only comparison that changes what you do.
Compare the shape, not the size. Across markets, the useful question is not "who gets more" but "what kind of thing do they get": a fixed sum deducted at order behaves differently from a consumable credit that expires, which behaves differently again from a time-limited software trial. The shape tells you whether the benefit can be lost by not using it, whether it survives a long delivery wait, and whether it is worth anything to a low-mileage driver. The size tells you almost nothing without the shape.
So this page gives you each market's reward and the method to price it for yourself, and stops there. A number that looks authoritative and is wrong for your situation is not a better outcome than a method that is right.
