What the code is worth in Germany
| Model | Referral reward in Germany |
|---|---|
| Model 3 | Free Supercharging credit |
| Model Y | Free Supercharging credit |
| Cybertruck | Not sold in Germany |
| Model S / Model X | No benefit — removed from the EU program |
FSD (Supervised) is not yet approved for public use on German roads, so the German reward is Supercharging credit, not an FSD trial.
Availability: Model 3 and Model Y are sold in Germany; the Cybertruck is not homologated for EU sale.
Local incentives you can stack in Germany
The referral reward is separate from government EV incentives, so where you qualify these stack on top. This is the depth other referral sites skip — verify each against the official source for your situation.
Dienstwagen 0.25% company-car rule
Germany's headline EV saving is the reduced taxable-benefit rate for electric company cars (the 0.25% rule for EVs under a list-price cap, versus 1% for combustion). For a company Model 3/Y this is worth far more than the referral Supercharging — the reason so many German Teslas are business registrations.

Umweltbonus — ended for consumers
The consumer Umweltbonus purchase subsidy was discontinued at the end of 2023 and has not returned for private buyers. Don't budget for a purchase grant; the tax-side company-car benefit is where the real saving now sits.

How to apply it at checkout in Germany
- Open the referral link first — it sends you to Tesla's Germany store with the benefit attached. Tesla can't add a referral after you order.
- Configure your Model 3 or Model Y in EUR.
- Confirm the reward — free supercharging credit (model 3 / y) — appears in the order summary before you place the order.
Germany Tesla referral code FAQ
Does a German referral code give free FSD?
No — FSD (Supervised) isn't approved for public use in Germany. The German reward is free Supercharging credit on Model 3 and Model Y.
Is there still a purchase subsidy (Umweltbonus)?
Not for private buyers — the consumer Umweltbonus ended after 2023. The big German EV saving is now the 0.25% company-car taxation rule.
