As of our 1 September 2026 review, Czechia had not issued its own approval for FSD (Supervised); it was waiting on a coordinated EU decision. The Czech reward is therefore Supercharging distance, not an FSD trial. See which EU countries have approved FSD.

Motorway vignette exemption for battery-electric cars
Battery-electric (and hydrogen) cars are exempt from the Czech motorway e-vignette (dálniční známka). For a Czech-registered car the exemption is applied automatically; a foreign-registered EV has to file an exemption notification first. Plug-in hybrids are not exempt and only get the reduced eco rate. Over a year of motorway driving this is worth more to many owners than the referral distance itself.
0.25% company-car benefit for zero-emission cars
If your employer provides the Tesla and you also use it privately, Czech payroll tax counts a monthly benefit of 0.25% of the car's purchase price (including VAT) for a pure electric car, against 1% for a petrol or diesel car and 0.5% for qualifying low-emission plug-in hybrids. On a company-car Tesla this is usually the largest saving in the whole purchase, and it stacks with the referral distance.
Prague parking: free EL-plate parking ended 1 January 2026
Older guides still say electric cars park free in Prague's paid zones. That changed: free parking for vehicles with EL registration plates ended on 1 January 2026, and zero-emission vehicles now get a 50% discount on short-term and long-term parking instead. The short-term discount applies automatically online once the plate is registered in the city's system; street parking machines do not apply it.

What is different about Czechia
- The terms are in Czech. Tesla's Czech Refer and Earn page is dated "Platné od 30. října 2024. Aktualizováno 4. června 2025" (in force from 30 October 2024, updated 4 June 2025). It caps an owner at ten referral orders per calendar year, and the order has to be placed through the owner's referral link.
- Prices are in koruna, the reward is in kilometres. The 1,000 km is a Supercharging allowance, not money off the CZK price. Your order total in koruna does not change. The kilometres show up after delivery.
- Germany and Austria are separate countries. Both have their own Tesla referral pages (see the Germany page). The country in the link has to match where the car will be registered, so a German link is not a way round anything for a car registered in Czechia.
- Slovakia has no referral page of its own. Tesla's referral country list we use does not include Slovakia. A Czech link opens Czech pricing for a Czech registration. It doesn't fix that for a car registered in Slovakia.
- The "2,000 km" reports. Some April 2026 coverage described a doubled European reward of about 2,000 km (our write-up). Tesla's Czech page checked on 29 August 2026 printed 1,000 km for Model 3 and Model Y. Go by the line in your own order summary.
