Why the referral question isn't automatic
New trims don't always inherit a model's referral eligibility cleanly. The clearest precedent on this exact site: the Cybertruck qualifies for the referral FSD trial in Premium AWD and Cyberbeast configurations, but Dual-Motor AWD is explicitly excluded. That's a real example of Tesla drawing a line inside a single model line, not across it.
